Located just a few minutes from San José downtown, in one of the oldest districts, the Hotel Aranjuez
offers the comfort and character of a genuine Costa Rican home.
Hotel Aranjuez quietly located in one of the oldest districts of San José; it is away from
the noise and smoke but still only a few minutes from downtown. Street 19, Av. 11 y 13, 200 m.
north, 200 m West and 25 m South from the Santa Teresita Church.
The Hotel Aranjuez worries also about nature: Organic garbage is processed to be used in our gardens
as fertilizer. We recycle by classifying inorganic garbage, biodegradable products are used for cleaning
and for washing clothes, non smoking areas are available, and a complete natural breakfast is served daily.
RESTAURANT
A complete "buffet" is served for breakfast which includes:
- A variety of homemade bread and pastry
- Season's fresh fruits
- Natural tropical juices
- Variety of cereals
- Variety of cold cuts (cheese, ham)
- A specialty of the Costa Rican cuisine is daily served
- Desired eggs include an omelet service with a variety of condiments

Our "CAFE EL PATIO" offers a variety of drinks, pastry and snacks prepared freshly right away.
For the short local trips of our guests, we prepare by order, a picnic basket that includes:

ROOMS
Its rooms have been designed with the original structure of the traditional houses.
They are spacious, ventilated and they keep all the warmth of a Costa Rican home of the 30's.
Standard room provided with a small private bath, TV, electronic safety box & phone.
Room equipped with a full double bed in the main room and one single in the little annex.
The wooden walls and tiles of the main room are original of the 1940s.
Superior room with private bath. Room equipped with a full size bed, electronic safety box,
phone & LCD TV of 32". The floor, ceiling & walls of this room are original of the 1940's.
Superior plus room with private bath. This room is equipped with phone, electronic safety box,
LCD TV of 32` & a full size bed. The room faces an interior garden. This room has two ambiences:
the bathroom and the leaving room.
Shared bath (SB) rooms are private room with cable TV, electronic Safety box, phone and all the
commodities. We offer SB rooms for one or two people. The bath is outside the room, a maximum of
5 people are sharing one bath for ladies and one for mens.
Notes:
(*) Superior (SUP) room corresponds to larger rooms with larger bathroom.
(**) Superior plus (SP) rooms are larger rooms for up to four people or located in the garden.
(***) Shared bath (SB) rooms are private rooms including the entire services but with the
bath outside the room. A maximum of 3 rooms (5 people) share one bathroom for woman and one bathroom for men.
