Day 1:
Early in the morning transfer to the airport to take flight to Palmar Sur. Once in Palmar be transported to the Sierpe
River Dock wher you will board the Aguila de Osa’s boat.
Travel down the river and then along the coast until you reachthe Drake Bay area where Aguila de Osa is found. Lunch will be awaiting.
Free afternoon to enjoy all the amenities, perhaps do some kayaking and enjoy hiking around. Dinner in Aguila de Osa.
Day 2:

After breakfast begin your tour to Corcovado National Park. Situated just 20-30 minutes by boat from Aguila
de Osa Inn, Corcovado National Park is world reknown for its rich diversity and spectacular scenery.
You will visit the San Pedrillo Ranger Station, which is the Park's northern most ranger station.
From here your guide will lead you up into the dense jungle comprised of primary and secondary forest,
during which time you'll be introduced to some of the more interesting aspects of the Park's natural
surroundings. The trails themselves are clearly marked and easy to navigate, ascending and descending
through the verdant rainforest. One particular trail leads to a large waterfall, ideal for photos and/or bathing.
This tour includes lunch and softdrinks, which are served at the end of the hikes. Shortly thereafter you'll board the boat and return to Aguila de Osa Inn.
Rest of the afternoon free. Dinner in Aguila de Osa.
Day 3:
Breakfast and departure in a great tour to Caño Island. Caño Island is situated just 12 nautical miles from Aguila de Osa Inn,
and can be seen just minutes after leaving the protected cove of the hotel. The boat ride to the Park entrance takes approximately 45 minutes,
during which time you might be lucky enough to see whales and/or dolphins frolicking in the ocean.
Your tour to Caño Island includes ample time to snorkel in front of the ranger station. This will provide snorkelers with an excellent
opportunity to familiarize yourself with the underwater terrain and sea life surrounding Caño Island. The dark, volcanic rock is home

to numerous species of marine life, much of which you'll see just a short swim from the beach. As well, you'll have time for a relatively
short hike, which begins just behind the ranger station. After an initial climb, the trail tapers off and remains rather flat throughout
the remainder of your hike. Caño Island is not know for its prolific wildlife, however, the Park does have rodents, crustaceans, amphibians,
birds, lizards, and insects. There are also archeological remains on the island, which can be found at the very end of one of the island's
trails. Small, completely round rock spheres can be observed, which are believed to date back to the days when the island was inhabited by indians.
This tour includes lunch, which comes complete with a variety of tropical fruits and drinks, salad, sandwiches, and snacks, i.e. cookies.
Lunch is prepared and served around midday, along the beach, just to the right side of the Ranger Station.
There are benches and shaded areas for those who need a reprieve from the hot sun. The Park Ranger Station has an office,
public bathrooms, an outdoor, freshwater shower, and storage area.
A little bit after lunch board the boat and return to Aguila de Osa Inn.
Rest of the afternoon free. Dinner in Aguila de Osa.
Day 4:
Breakfast and right after departure by boat back to Sierpe. Transportation from Sierpe to Palmar to take flight back to San José. Transfer to your hotel in San José.
