Corcovado Adventures Temt Camp

The Corcovado Adventures Tent Camp offers you an affordable and comfortable opportunity to vacation on one of the most beautiful places on the planet; the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica.

We are just a 10 minute boat ride southwest of Drake Bay on the western side of the Osa Peninsula. Our Camp is a short boat ride away from the Corcovado National Park and the Caņo Island Biological Reserve.

This paradise is a combination of tropical wilderness and beaches, catalogued by the National Geographic Society as "one of the most biologically intense places on Earth!".

Come and share this paradise with over 350 species of birds - Scarlet Macaws, Toucans, Trogons, and at least 7 types of hummingbirds right in our Camp!

Our flowers attract numerous species of butterflies, including the famous blue Morpho Butterfly (Morpho Menelaus). In addition, we are visited regularly by White-faced, Howler and Spider Monkeys.

Corcovado Aerea
corcovado
The Corcovado National Park area is located on the Osa peninsula in the southern pacific region of Costa Rica.

The national park together with the whole area surrounding it is considered to be the ultimate wildlife preservation area of all of Costa Rica's extensive system of national parks and biological reserves.

The ecological variety and abundance is truly amazing. National Geographic once called it "the most biologically intense place on Earth". Any person visiting this incredible area can expect to see an abundance of both marine and rainforest wildlife at its best.

The area conserves the largest primary tropical rainforest on the American Pacific coastline and one of the few remaining sizeable areas of lowland tropical rainforests in the world.

Corcovado is large enough to support a sizeable population of the endangered Baird's Tapir. And it holds about 140 species of mammals (representing 10% of the mammal-species in America). Large herds of white-lipped peccaries (wild pigs) roam the park as well as several big cats (including jaguars, ocelots, cougars and margay).

Costa Rica as a whole is a birdwatcher's dream come true, and Corcovado in particular holds most of this treasure where several hundred land and marine bird species can be seen in their natural habitat.

The combination of all this biological richness with the beautiful pristine beaches makes Corcovado one of the few places on earth that you can surely call paradise.
Check them out and find out why the Corcovado Adventures Tent Camp is the best lodging option in Corcovado:

The Corcovado Adventures Tent Camp is located right on the yellow sand beaches of Caletas. It is bordered on the north east side by a pristine fresh water stream that fills a natural swim pond before it empties to the ocean. On the back of our grounds are steep hills covered with lush rainforest. There is a waterfall upstream that can be visited by our guests.

Comfortable Camping

We provide comfortable accommodations in full-size tents with wood-frame beds. Our tents are covered by a large tarp to protect them from the tropic sun and rain.
