Hotel Costa Verde is located on a coastal rainforest bluff overlooking the Pacific beaches of Manuel Antonio National Park near Quepos, Costa Rica. Three hundred yards from the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park, the Hotel Costa Verde features two Cliffside pools with sundecks and spacious rooms and balconies, all offering a bird's-eye view of the Park's coastline plus rainforest canopy vistas dotted with native birds and monkeys.
Hotel Costa Verde offers accommodations for a variety of options for vacation living. These include air conditioned studio and efficiency apartments
with cable TV and Costa Verde II, a special group of 15 studios designed exclusively for couples with an open-air design and no air conditioning, glass
windows or TV. In addition, we have Bungalows available for vacationers interested in renting a private house. Each area has its own swimming pool,
special ambiance and vistas.For guests traveling with children, or who prefer air-conditioned rooms, we offer 520 square foot Studio apartments with two beds.
Two pools are available for guests staying in this area of the hotel. We have a total of 24 air-conditioned studios of this size, either with jungle and/or partial ocean views; eight are Studio-Plus units with the best panoramic views. These studio units are equipped with ceiling fans, a powerful air-conditioner, cable TV, a kitchenette and a large balcony.
We also offer 14 Efficiency units, featuring post & beam hardwood construction with TV and air-conditioning. The units are located in three different areas. All of these units have two double beds, ceiling fans, air conditioning, cable TV, kitchenette and balcony. Max 4 people.
Houses & Bungalows Casa Quinta & our Bungalows are perfect places for travelers interested in renting a private house, while still receiving all the amenities of the hotel. Sitting above the main hotel area, they are surrounded by the sounds of nature and views of the jungle and ocean. The houses feature easy parking, a pool and a complete kitchenette.
Casa Quinta & our two Bungalows are perfect places for those travelers interested in renting a private house, while still receiving all the amenities of the hotel. They sit above the main hotel area where they offer the sounds of nature as well as ocean and jungle vistas. Casa Quinta & the two Bungalows are connected to the reception by a short footpath and, naturally, maintain the hotel's proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park. Not only do these houses come with the same daily services of a hotel room, but easy parking, a pool for the houses and a complete kitchenette where a guest can do their own cooking if they so choose.
Casa Quinta (A-9) includes three separates entrances, two and a half bedrooms, two full baths, a big living room with cable TV, A/C, a huge terrace, dining area and an ocean view. Two bedrooms each offers queen-size beds,as well as the living room where and extra queen size bed is located. One of the bedrooms has an independent air conditioner and a seperate outside entrance. A small, half-bedroom room has a single bed.
Bungalow A-13 offers two bedrooms with both separate and internal entrances, and balconies for each room. The main room contains one king size bed & one queen bed, a kitchenette, full bath, cable TV, A/C. The second room contains one queen size bed, A/C, cable TV, and a full bath. Five ceiling fans cool the rooms.
Bungalow A-11 is one large studio containing three queen size beds, a kitchenette, four ceiling fans, A/C & cable TV.

Our newest area, Costa Verde II, is designed for couples 18 years and older seeking a more romantic getaway with a balmy, tropical ambiance.
Each apartment features 750 square feet of space with expansive screened windows and doors that draw in ocean breezes and commanding rainforest or ocean views. Guests will enjoy a spacious balcony, two queen-size beds, kitchenette, and ceiling fans. Seven Studio-Plus units offer direct, panoramic ocean views; seven Studio units offer less-direct ocean and/or rainforest views; and the fifth-floor Penthouse, with two king-size beds, boasts a spectacular panoramic view of both land and sea.

The fully outfitted, meticulously detailed, two bedroom, Boeing 727 fuselage suite. We have refurbished a vintage 1965 Boeing 727 airframe,
which in its prior life shuttled globetrotters on South Africa Air and Avianca Airlines (Colombia).
Our phoenix is now ready for its future duty as the most exclusive hotel suite in Costa Rica.
We salvaged this airframe, piece by piece, from its San Jose airport resting place. We carefully transported the pieces on five, big-rig trucks to the jungles of Manuel Antonio where they have been resurrected into a unique jumbo hotel suite. Our classic airplane, nestled on the edge of the National Park in our Costa Verde II area, is perched on a 50-foot pedestal. At this height, you will enjoy scenic ocean and jungle views from the hard wood deck built atop the plane's former right wing.
The plane's interior is Costa Rican teak paneling from the cockpit to the tail. Furnishings are hand-carved, teak furniture from Java, Indonesia. Our 727 home features two air conditioned bedrooms--one with two queen sized beds and the other with one queen sized bed, each with its own private bath—a flat screen TV, a kitchenette, dining area foyer; an ocean view terrace; a private entrance up a river rock, spiral staircase; and 360 degrees of surrounding gardens.
Enjoy an evening on the terrace while sipping a glass of wine and observing your tree top neighbors: sloths, toucans and monkeys................

RESTAURANTS
Anaconda Restaurant features jungle and ocean vistas and the best of Costa Rican and international cuisine--specializing in fresh fruits and seafood dishes. Across the street from the hotel entrance is our live-music restaurant & bar -- La Cantina BBQ -- featuring seafood, chicken, steaks and ribs on an open wood fire. Enjoy our reggae trio--The Jungle Boys--every night from 7 to 11.  
The latest addition to Costa Verde is El Avión, a bar and restaurant featuring informal dining, spectacular sunsets, and live music. We have chronicled here a picture survey of Ollie North's, 1954 model, C-123 Fairchild Provider as it is being moved from San Jose's international airport to Costa Verde. To make transportation possible, the aircraft had to be taken apart piece by piece, cut in half, and finally ferried to Port Quepos--3 miles from Costa Verde--where we put it back together for it's last flight of fantasy. We are currently investigating how the Costa Rican government acquired the plane. 
While you relax and listen to the live rhythms of reggae and latin music put on by the Jungle Boys, enjoy the outdoor atmosphere and try one of our delicious entrees such as steak, chicken, fresh fish, jumbo shrimp, and lobster all prepared on our large wood burning BBQ.
