At Sunny Travel we share your interest for nature and travel. We specialized in individual and family travel - small and big groups, big adventures.
Our passion is to make each vacation in our beautiful country Costa Rica an unforgettable life experience. Our efficient team of travel consultants know Costa
Rica really well and work in harmony towards ensuring your vacation will be what you expected it to be and more!
All of our group itineraries are custom designed, we operate general natural history tours and vacations that involve adventures such rafting,
river and sea kayaking, hiking, and very special interests like birdwatching through our branch Tropical Feathers
We also design School Trips and different types of educational tours covering aspects like adventure, conservation and biodiversity, learning Spanish, and community service.
Individual travelers are also good part of our clientele and for them we also custom-design great vacations in accordance with their interests, budgets,
and physical aptitudes. We put special attention on always selecting the best destinations and types of activities, local naturalist guides, full trip
naturalist guides, rented cars, shuttles and private transports, and of course, accommodations.
Here at Sunny Travel and our branch Tropical Feathers we believe in Responsible Travel. Our background in Ecotourism and Environmental Management makes
us pay special attention to this aspect which at the end follows the same principles but simply uses a different title. Our activities not only try to
cause the least possible impact on natural environments, but seek to educate the travelers, respect the cultural aspects and protect local economy.
Community service work and investing great resources and time into environmental conservation are a big part of our yearly effort. We have sponsored
the Fila Costera Bird Count for over six years and have motivated locals and foreigners to preserve important areas in the Southern region of the country
specifically in the Coastal Range. Over 490 species of birds have been recorded in the area.
